About World Prayer
"Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefroe the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest." Luke 10:2
Prayer is provided for our communication and communion with God.
The practice of prayer is taught throughout God's Word and and the power of prayer has been demonstrated throughout history. Grace Baptist firmly believes we must make our church, God's church, a house of prayer.
"My house shall be called the house of prayer..." Matt 21:13.
Grace Baptist Prays
Grace Baptist strives to support this mission through regular services dedicated to prayer, sharing daily prayer requests among the church body, teaching and participating in prayer throughout all of our ministries and promoting prayer as a necessary element of every Christians daily life.
God's word teaches us to not only prayer for our own needs and infirmities, but to prayer for brothers, sisters, leaders, strangers, nations and the world.
"For the LORD will not forsake his people for his great name's sake: because it hath pleased the LORD to make you his people. Moreover as for me, God forbid that I should sin against the LORD in ceasing to pray for you..." 1 Samuel 12:22-23a
Grace Baptist and Operation World

Operation World Prayer Burden
"It is a mystery that our loving Father has somehow limited His omnipotence to partner with His redeemed people so that His actions in the world are inextricably linked with our prayers.
The nations are there for the asking. God is calling you and me into the ministry of intercession for them. We have plenty of opposition in the heavenlies and from human powers and persecutors. The enemy will seek to frighten us with these and dangle allurements to distract us from the vision of a heavenly, eternal Kingdom filled with people from every race, tribe, people and tongue. Yet Jesus offers us a share in His reign. At times, we may look up to Him in agony, but we must see our true position – looking down with Him, exercising the authority bequeathed by Him in the Great Commission He has given to every Christian. May we become intercessors with a world vision that prays Satan-defeating, Kingdom-taking, people-reaching, captive-releasing, revival-giving, Christ-glorifying prayers."
