                GIVING A COUNCIL TIME MESSAGE

When giving a message it is important to remember these are kids we are

ministering to.  Try to keep it on a level they can understand.  Try to refrain

from to much interaction in the form of them reading as it can become disruptive

at times and they can lose their focus. 

Here is general outline you can follow that will insure success (almost):

1,) Introduction - Just talk about the topic

2.) Relate it to a Bible Story to illustrate the topic

3.) Have about three solid points you want to emphasize

4.) Transition the message to a presentation of the Gospel Wheel

5.) Conclusion - Remind the kids of the topic

Keep it on their level, make sure they leave knowing what the topic was and

lastly and most importantly make sure they've seen the Gospel wheel in one form

or another.  If we stay true to this by the end of the year they should all be equipped

to not only understand what salvation is (if they haven't already accepted it for themselves)

but they should be fully equipped to talk to their friends about it.......and that is the primary

reason God put us on this earth in the first place......to fulfill the Great Commission!
