September 2, 2010 Prayer Request from the Nelsons:

• Two upcoming Fall series - "The spirit of the Age" this month and in October we will do a series on what it means to be a follower of Jesus.
• Rescue Workers BBQ this month.  This is our annual outreach to local fire fighters and EMT workers.  Pray for good weather, good turnout, and open doors.
• Pray that God would bless us so that we can be a blessing to others.
• The students of the Choir College where we meet will be returning - pray that we can make an impact upon them.
• Foundations Class (Discipleship) starts in October.
• For the Youth Small Group which is starting up again.

Praises:

• We've raised over $2K for India missionaries in the last three months.  Well on our way to goal of $2,550.
• We wontinue to have weeking visitors at PBC - pray they'll stick.
• More youth workers stepping up to help out on Sunday morning.
• The success of the Woman's Bible Study we had this summer!
